Tell us about your past experience (where did you go to school, previous jobs, volunteer work, etc.)
I completed the real estate program with Humber basically right out of high school. I grew up around real estate, and knew deep down this would be something I'd want to be apart of as my career. I've worked in social media management and digital marketing briefly, along with just over 2 years in sales at a luxury automotive dealership. I've owned a few small businesses, and I am heading into my 5th year as a licensed realtor.
What is your favourite thing about your industry/job?
Getting to meet new people from various backgrounds and build relationships with them, the ability to build my own brand, help buyers and sellers with one of the biggest transactions of their lives, everyday is different and every client and transaction is unique in its own way. I love being able to problem solve and negotiate. and I love seeing the transformation of spaces, when my clients make it their own.
Who stands out to you / do you most admire?
On a professional level, someone I admire the most in the industry is Ryan Serhant. On a more personal level, I'd say my parents and my partner (Sarah) :)
What is the career philosophy / mantra / inspirational quote that gets you through tougher days?
I see mistakes as learning opportunities, to grow. I enjoy learning new skills and improving myself on a daily basis. I remind myself that the comfort zone is where your dreams will die. Life is a direct reflection of how your spend your time. Ships that wait for the perfect wind, never sail.
Describe your dream home in three words.
Oh, this is a tough one. Three words only..? I'd say, warm, inviting and full of character. I guess that's more than three words haha
Where do you see yourself in five years?
I envision a future where I’m happily married to my partner, with a Boston Terrier by our side, settled into a home we can call our own. I hope to have built a successful business and name through dedication and hard work—and who knows, maybe even be a proud, multi-award-winning PSR agent!
Where would we find you on a Friday night in Toronto?
Definitely a good restaurant, or at a fun event/market! J's Steak Frites, Pennie's or somewhere on Ossington. The list could go on, there's too much to choose from in this city!
When you’re not working, what can we find you doing?
When I'm not working, I enjoy being outdoors, travelling or my passion for motorsports. I love finding new coffee shops and restaurants.
Highlight so far this year and what you’re looking forward to this next year
We're early on into the year so far, but honestly I think my biggest highlight has been my move to PSR. It's been a move I've wanted to make for the last few years and was the very first brokerage I interviewed with before I finished my courses for my license. I'm looking forward to this exciting new chapter and continuing to build my business and assist my wonderful clients!
