Tell us about your past experience (where did you go to school, previous jobs, volunteer work, etc.)
I was educated in Business Administration with a major in Finance. While I was at school, I would work in concrete construction work for a custom home builder. After I finished my studies, I worked for The Mortgage Insurance Company of Canada where I learned about how developers insure their financing for large projects. I have worked in Retail Sales, Accounting, Marketing, Information Technology, and Real Estate.
What is your favourite thing about your industry/job?
Challenges. Meeting new people and helping them achieve their dreams. The dynamic way the industry works. Being my own boss.
Who stands out to you / do you most admire?
My parents were the most instrumental in my development into adulthood. They were hard working folks, providing for our large family when there wasn’t always the resources to do so, but most of all they helped me to understand that nothing comes without hard work. Their wisdom and conviction that they taught me, still inspire and drive me today.
What is the career philosophy / mantra / inspirational quote that gets you through tougher days?
I have a mantra that I recite to myself as I start each day. It’s personal to just me, but it’s rooted in gratitude and consideration for others.

When you’re not working, what can we find you doing?
Exploring the city, riding my bike, observing unusual points of interest for photography, catching up on my favourite shows or movies; listening to an audiobook.
